FD People, as part of their partnership with Scottish Gymnastics, are producing a series of webinars, guidance documents and templates to offer clubs advice on a range of HR topics.

This session has been created as a guide to the processes and key focusses of recruiting for gymnastic clubs covering volunteers, self-employed, workers and employees.

This webinar will:

  • Provide an overview of the whole recruitment & selection process from pre-recruitment activities to onboarding the selected applicant;
  • Explain how to apply a fair and consistent approach to interviews and avoid discrimination in the selection process;
  • Address the importance of safeguarding in recruitment;
  • Go over the obligations and potential risks involved with the recruitment & selection process; and
  • Discuss obligations once the chosen individual joins your club.
